The age group believed by many to purchase RVs are no longer predominantly those in their 50s and 60s. With the advent of modern technology comes modern comforts for RVers which have attracted a new age group between 18 and 34. This is currently the fastest growing demographic, which has caused the market of RV sales to change. According to Lysa Christopher, the technology of modern RVs has advanced faster in the last couple years because of this new generation of RV owners, and has allowed for a needed change in the RV industry.

The new technological advancements built into RVs have geared more towards the sport utility crowd. This means the incorporation of garages built within the motorhome for motorcycles, ATVs, personalized watercraft and other outdoor toys for the much younger crowd.

These new high-tech RVs do not come at a inexpensive price to a potential buyer. According to Kevin Broom, the limitation of what can be created or added to an RV nowadays is only limited with your imagination. Flat-panel display HD TVs, and surround sound along with Internet access are just a few of the amenities that are commonplace within current model RVs.

If you want to go more lavish, you can add fireplaces, central vacuum systems and even saunas for those who have deep pockets. This in in many cases is more than most homeowners have with an established residency, and can cost quite a bit more than an average home would as well. And even more expensive is replacing or servicing these RV parts and gadgets when needed.

Along with these amenities have also come the challenges for finding places for these gadgets to fit within the RV. Most newer models feature large 26 inch to 42 inch screen LCD TVs which hide out of site with a specialized compartment built into the walls. These compartments open and the TV slides out at the owners will. This not only saves on space but also allows for these more expensive gadgets to be placed in safe housing when not in use.

For those who want Internet on the go, companies like MOTOsat, iNetvu and Magellan provide the necessary hardware for satellite as well as full GPS navigation. What can one look at paying for this service and hardware? For starters the price begins within the range of about $5000 for hardware, and service fees at approximately $60 per month which are recurring.

As it seems RVs are no longer a getaway home for those wanting to nap and relax, but rather a home away from home to stay involved with the modern technological advancements that keep humans ever so busy

If you’re looking for little solar power mixed with a little style these Malibu solar power outdoor home lighting sets are just what the doctor ordered. Lets me start off by saying I’m a Nikon guy, and I am looking for a new camera for my other hobby, which is trying to prove to myself I can take good pictures. So today I began my search for the best digital cameras I could find to make a decision about what I wanted. Keep in mind I am upgrading from a Nikon D-50, yeah I know, it’s a toy compared to what is out there today, but as the picture shows I have taken some pretty good shots with it. This picture was shot from outside my aquarium through about 10 inches of moving water. I used a 60 mm Nikon Macro lens. Still I want something better and have landed on the Nikon D200

The Nikon D200 is made for amateurs like myself or professional photographers  who really know how to use a camera. It features 10.2 megapixel resolution and superbly built quality. Many of the D200’s features are actually taken direct from the top-of-the-range D2X.

What makes the D200 the logical choice for upgrading for me is the price range, always a factor when considering a digital merchandise purchase. I found that one of the  best digital cameras that Nikon makes is priced between $585.00 – $ 1100.00 depending on the package you select to take along with you. Now I know there are higher end cameras out there, but I need to be in this price range. If anyone out there wants to make  a suggestion , I am listening

State of the art smartphones are getting more and more common these days.  The iPhone, Android G1 and Palm Pre have gotten the most hype so far – which one lives up to it?

What’s important to you as a phone user will vary, but I tried to pick categories and judge them as objectively as possible.

Touchscreen
All three phones have capacitive touchscreens, which are nice.  However, only the Pre and the iPhone have support for multitouch gestures.  Sorry Android, you missed the boat on this one.

Multitasking
The iPhone SDK only lets you run one app at a time, which takes it out of the running.  The G1’s notifications drawer is better, but it’s not as good as the Palm Pre’s “Cards” interface.  Seems each newly released phone has gotten successively better at multitasking… wonder what’s next?

Development platform/community
This time taking an advantage from being first, the iPhone App store and developer community is the largest of the three out there.  However, this is bound to change.  In contrast to Apple’s restrictions (OS X only, please), the G1 is entirely open source and the Pre is based on Web OS, which is more or less JavaScript.  Time will tell, but these open approaches give access to a broader community out there.  Although that doesn’t necessarily mean better.

Network
Unless you spend the time to unlock your phone, you’re stuck with one carrier on any of these.  AT&T for the iPhone, T-Mobile for the G1, and Sprint for the Pre.  I hear Sprint has an excellent 3G network.  For those who wish to choose their carrier, another alternative is to get a WiMo smartphone.

Web integration/browser
All three phones are based on WebKit, but only the Pre and the iPhone support multitouch screen features like zooming.  The Pre also does a nice job of smartly handling your contacts and messages.

Keyboard
If you like touchscreen keyboards, the iPhone has a nice one.  If you need the feel of a physical QWERTY, you’re choosing between the G1 and the Pre.  To me, the G1’s has the best feel in this category.

Each phone has its own pros and cons, and it’s up to you as the user to decide what would be best for you.  It’s clear smartphone technology is only getting better, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

The T-Mobile G1 Phone is out and available for purchase. Discounts online have it priced at $180.00 and sales have been somewhat subdued for now, but expect that to change. T-Mobile has network for the G1 Phone exclusively and serious promotion can be expected very soon. The G1 uses Google’s Android operating System and features options for consumers not available including Google apps.

The G1 Phone Accessories are available as well. This product is just getting warmed up. T-Mobile G1 Phone Wallpapers, MP3 Ringtones is sure to be a hot item and downloads have begun already.

Expect the G1 Phone to be a very popular Christmas seller and TV spots cant be too far away. The arrangement with Google will help T-Mobile. It still seems rather odd that this launch was under the radar, but we still think bigger and better things are yet to come. I wouldn’t think the boys at Apple are shaking in their boots at this point

Well we knew this would happen. Dont expect to purchase the new Apple iPhone at just any retailer you can find . News service Bloomberg is reporting that only three of 188 Apple Stores, in California, New York and New Hampshire — have phones available to sell today. One analyst has predicted that the shortage will last well into August. Does anyone out there have one? Want to tell us about it?

Teh shortage will preprtyate itself becaus eof the demand. People have got to have it and as with all new tech prdoucts , they wont rest until they hold one of these sleek little gadgets in theit hands.  Now doesn tit see that a company as large as Apple would have anticpated this kind of demand? It does to me, and I think it is a stroke of marketing genuis by Apple

The Kodak Easyshare Z1275 is a  quality camera that will deliver excellent resolution for your photo  needs.  The Z1275 is a fairly large and heavy camera by compact standards, measuring a substantial 89.5 × 64.5 × 31.6 mm and tipping the scales at 161g without batteries. As a inexpensive digital camera the Kodak Easyshare z1275 fits the bill. Just dont expect to o much out of it. You get what youpay for ,but the Kodak Easyshare z1275 makes a nice entry level type , family camera. Overall, this digital camera’s features are as expected for this price. However, you would normally pay nearly 35% more to get a compact camera with comparable resolution. Kodak EASYSHARE Z1275 is loaded with user-friendly features so that handling all 12 megapixels is incredibly easy. The Kodak EasyShare Z1275 is an attempt to bring 12 megapixels to the masses. I would say mission accomplished.

Apple reduced the price of one of its centerpiece products and did so rather quietly.The MacBook Air has been resuced $500.00 on the high end to $2598.00 The MacBook Air, which Apple launched in January to some fanfare, has been sold in two configurations since then: with a traditional 80GB magnetic platter hard drive and a 1.6-GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, or with a 64GB solid-state drive and a 1.8-GHz CPU. Solid-state drives (SSD) are built from flash memory and, unlike hard drives, have no moving parts. Ill tell what else does not have moving parts. The money in my wallet. It the same thing with everything that Apple makes start high, suck a few dollars out of the I cant wait to own it crowd and adjust , Ill wait a bit longer. Didnt they just reduce the price of the iPhone
